Take a Look on Top Celebrity Couples

People has its "Most Beautiful People." But aside from sitting around a conference table arguing about celebs in bikinis, how do you actually decide who's the hottest? At Zimbio, we've found a foolproof, scientific method for rating a couple's hotness, based on four categories: Success, Attractiveness, Popularity and Staying Power.

For the first three, we've ranked each partner in a couple on a scale from one to 10, then added the two scores to come up with a final number (one to 20) in each category. We ranked Staying Power separately on a scale from one to 20 for each couple. The total of the scores in the four categories determined each couple's rank on our list. Numbers don't lie, folks.

Here's more on how we break it down:

Success.
In a word: Money. Exceptionally hot celebrities are almost always exceptionally rich (and vice versa), so we've tapped into Forbes and other sources to discover their salaries and net worth. We've also considered factors like Oscar and Grammy nominations / wins, platinum albums and other honors they've received.

Attractiveness.
Our next ranking category is the most obvious in this often-superficial industry: Victoria's Secret model? Check. Ridiculously lucky God-given genes? Double check. But if someone's been on the cover of multiple glamour magazines and/or is under contract with a high-end, high-profile brand, it pushes up their numbers on our list.

Popularity.
Since looking good and making bank don't necessarily keep a couple on the public's radar, we've chosen to judge a couple's popularity by the number of times they've been Googled in the last month. Again, the numbers don't lie.

Staying Power.
This category takes into account all the factors that keep couples together: children, marriage, cohabitation and longevity. If either member of the couple has a history of short, stormy relationships, they get dinged in our point structure.

Yes, there were some ties. And since you can't rely on science for everything, we've turned to the ancient art of astrology to break them: Couples with high compatibility jumped ahead, while those doomed by the stars fell back a slot. In fact, as an extra bonus we've included a summary of each couple's astrological compatibility at the bottom of each article. In case you're superstitious or consider astrology a science.

Coming Out Day Celebrates With the Celebrities Show Up In their Hidden Closet

National Coming Out Day was first celebrated on October 11, 1988, exactly one year after the historic March On Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights. Today we mark the 24th National Coming Out Day, and continue to celebrate it as a day when lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their allies proudly share who they are and encourage those who aren't out of the closet to join them in an effort to ignite and increase discussions of and about the LGBT community.

When it comes to visibility and impact, it can be argued that celebrities have an especially large role in shaping the way mainstream society views an issue. Until recently, coming out of the closet could trigger the end of a star's career and even now many in Hollywood remain in the closet. But more and more celebrities are opening up about being gay and, thus, changing and broadening understanding about who could potentially be LGBT.

Have a look at the stories of 41 celebrities who have come out of the closet and then sound off on your thoughts about coming out in the comments section below.

Improving Your Photos While Kissing Your Loveone

It’s intimate, it’s passionate, and it’s something that happens while in the arms of the person you are star struck in love with. In most cases it doesn’t really matter what your kiss looks like because it’s just between you and your sweetheart. But there are the few rare occasions when it’s in public on display for the world to see. Those occasions often include your wedding and engagement photos. I posted a status on this topic a few days ago on Facebook and got such on overwhelming response I thought I would post a blog about it. For those of you who are single you can stop reading here.
First off let me say that not everyone kisses in their engagement photos. It’s not expected, and not required, and some people even email  in advance to let me know they won’t be kissing. I even include a question in my pre-wedding information sheet asking whether the bride & groom will be kissing before the ceremony. So if you’re not interested in the kissing photos- it’s seriously not a big deal. However, for those of you who are-there’s just something about the romance, the intimacy, and the beauty of a great kissing shot that somehow makes a collection of photos complete.
So here it goes. How to look good in kissing photos. When you narrow it down there are really two categories of kissing. The first is the passionate, energetic, in-motion shot. This is when the groom wraps his arm around his beauty, pulls her tight, and dips her into a long deep kiss, or when she runs up and jumps into his arms and they kiss while he spins her around. If the shot involves a lot of motion, chances are the photographer is going to go a little bit wider to catch everything. What that means is that it won’t be a tight shot of your faces and you don’t need to worry too much. Just keep it fairly light, try not to eat each others lips, and don’t injure yourself. The ceremony kiss also kind of falls into the action category. That one is more to please the crowd, so have fun with it, maybe add a little dip and you’ll be fine.
The second type of kiss is the romantic whimsical still shot. It’s usually a little closer and this is where things can get awkward. I guess I should start off with what not to do: Don’t eat or suck on each others lips, don’t use your tongue, don’t slobber, don’t press to hard, don’t pucker too much, and make sure to hold it still for a second so the photographer can catch it.
The perfect kiss really comes down to this:
#1 You need to use your hands. Ladies lightly bring one hand up on his cheek or ear or the back of his head and ever so gently pull him in. Guys if you’re going to use a hand be careful to make sure it doesn’t look like you’re strangling her. Gently pull her in with just two fingers under the chin, or just two fingers on her cheek. More than that looks forceful.
#2 Keep it light. The most intimate and whimsical kissing pictures are the ones where your lips are just inches apart as you come into it. It leaves the rest up to imagination and has a really striking effect. I always tell couples to come in to just before they touch and hold it there for a minute.
#3 When you actually kiss, keep it super light, pucker just a little bit, be very gentle and make sure neither of your noses are bent.
#4 Close your eyes.
Hopefully that wasn’t too much information and should be helpful for couples and photographers out there looking for better kissing photos. I won’t embarrass anyone below by making commentary on any individual photos, but these are some great examples of doing it right! =)
Have some better suggestions? I would love feedback or thoughts on how to make this article better!
